Kristi Inkinen Yanagihara
Kristi, owner of Remedy Intelligent Staffing, found her calling in human resources recruitment when she was growing up. She spent many hours watching her mother, Kathryn Inkinen, who is the founder of Inkinen and Associates, an executive recruitment firm with a long record of successful placements with Hawaii's top companies.
Kristi is responsible for all facets of Remedy Intelligent Staffing's operations, including managing communications with the franchise corporate office, company sales, marketing and finance. Her background in the placement industry and practical approaches provide an effective combination to meet the needs and demands of Remedy's growing roster of client employers. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Loyola Marymount University and executive masters in human resources from the University of Hawaii.
Human Resources Manager
Kristin has been with Remedy Intelligent Staffing since September 2010. As the Human Resources Manager, Kristin is responsible for managing the staffing team and the human resources side of the business. This includes overseeing the Staffing Specialists and Human Resources team members as well as recruiting and providing customer service to various local clients. Kristin also supports the back office human resources process including payroll and benefits processing.
Kristin has her Bachelor of Science degree in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She worked for several years in operations at a local restaurant before joining the Remedy Intelligent Staffing team. Kristin also graduated with a Master in Human Resource Management degree from the University of Hawaii’s Shidler College of business.
Kristin was in the inaugural cohort of the Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance through the YWCA of Oahu. Kristin was also in the first cohort of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce Hawaii-Hiroshima Emerging Young Leaders Program. She is a Board Member of the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce and has been heavily involved in the planning for their annual Cherry Blossom Festival event. Kristin is also a member of Hawaii Society of Business Professionals and Sakura Hawaii Alumnae.
Chantelle joined the Remedy Team in May 2015 and is responsible for assisting in the recruitment and placement process as well as maintaining close associate and client relations. She comes from a strong customer service background and has a versatile skill set from her different job related experiences. She has previous HR experience and has always been interested in recruiting and staffing after working with a staffing firm that helped to place her in a position.
Chantelle has her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Chapman University with a minor in Leadership & Organizational Studies. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and enjoys traveling, hiking, and going to the beach in her free time.
Beth Wilde joined Remedy as a Staffing Specialist in September 2015. Her responsibilities include assisting in the recruitment and placement process for various clients and industries to fill a wide range of professional office positions. She also works closely with the Remedy staff to maintain close associate and client relations. She graduated from Lynchburg College with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication and her recent professional background includes a strong skill set in public relations and management.
Beth moved to Oahu in July 2015 and she hails from Northern Virginia. In her free time she enjoys exploring the island with her husband and dog, going to the beach and cooking.
Ashley joined the Remedy Team in December 2017 and is responsible for assisting in the recruitment and placement process as well as maintaining close associate and client relations. Her recent professional background includes a strong skill set in human resources and management.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa — Shidler College of Business. Prior to Remedy, she was the HR Assistant Manager at Alan Wong’s, HR Generalist at Outrigger Hotels Hawaii and HR Intern at Express Employment Professional. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and enjoys playing soccer, traveling, hiking, camping and going to the beach in her free time.
Senior Account Executive
Cameron Brokaw brings over 17 years of sales, marketing, and account management experience within large global companies, as well as start-ups in Silicon Valley. His background includes managing B2B sales teams, managing integrated online marketing campaigns, overseeing technical solution implementation for B2B customers & overall excellent client management. Prior to joining the team, Cameron successfully managed AT&T’s Small Business Division as the Regional Sales Manager overseeing the Hawaiian Islands.
Cameron graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Operations & Management Information Systems. When not working, Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife & son. He is an active board member at his son’s school St. Clement’s, and also assists with coaching his various sports teams.
Human Resources Coordinator
Kay joined the Remedy team in June 2015. As our Human Resources Coordinator, she is responsible for all HR duties for Remedy including processing payroll, managing benefits, assisting with recruitment and the testing and screening of new associates. She also handles employee relations and assists new associates with orientation and training. Kay enjoys the HR industry, where she is able to get to know many people and help them professionally.
Kay was born in California and came to Hawaii to study at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2010. Kay graduated with a BBA in Human Resources Management, International Business, and a minor in Japanese in Fall 2014. Her past experiences include working at the William S. Richardson’s School of Law library and holding an internship for STARTS International Hawaii Inc. She was also the HR Manager at Red Dot Productions, a marketing company, gaining invaluable HR experience. In her free time she enjoys skiing, watching movies and travelling the world.
Marketing and Recruitment Specialist
Jaclin is joining the Remedy Intelligent Staffing and Inkinen & Associates team as a Marketing and Recruitment Specialist. She will be responsible for overall marketing and internal operations of the office such as weekly e-newsletters, social media, and public relations. She will also help with recruiting and staffing to find the right fit for companies seeking employees.
Jaclin graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She began her career working as an Executive Team Leader of Guest Experience for Target and loved being involved in the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and the development of a team. She moved to Hawaii in 2016 with Target and became the Executive Team Leader of Human Resources. She loved this role because it allowed her to oversee a team who was involved in payroll process, scheduling, staffing, recruitment, leadership development, and overall culture of the store. Through her experience at Target, she knew she wanted to further her career in staffing, marketing, and recruitment and was lucky to find a job that encompassed these characteristics. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, hiking, cooking, and going to pure barre classes!
